I have been going totally blind in one eye. I persumed when you go blind you see black but i see light brown. Its really scary. I also persumed it was my new meds. I went to my gp who said its definately not my meds. So now its scary he has no idea what it is. I have to monitor it for a week while he researches it and go back in a week. Im scared.

That does sound really scary! I'm glad you got it checked out and were assured that it wasn't your meds so you can keep taking them! Your GP sounds really awesome too since he's willing to check it out and see what it might be.
There are a bunch of different kinds of eye illnesses, some of which don't mean that you go totally blind or it happens slowly or there are ways to stop whatever the problem may be.
I know your anxiety must be pretty high right now, but use the tools you know to try to keep that in check as much as you can. You can handle this - I know you can! Let us know what's going on, ok?

am very happy you talked to your GP on this. Having your vision is important. it will help you in getting around and also help you with the SI group your with. They need you to help with what ever they do.

Maybe he looked up the med info and it's a rare side effect he wasn't aware of? That would account for his change of heart. Still, getting everything checked out sounds like good advice.
